The challenge

A rental that needed to run itself.

The owner was getting the property ready for Airbnb and needed more than a few smart devices. The goal was one system that protected the property, gave guests an easy stay, and could be managed remotely between turnovers.

  • Exterior security with no existing wiring
  • Guest entry without handing off keys
  • Shared TVs without exposing the owner’s streaming accounts
  • Early warning on water leaks while the house sits empty

What we installed

Seven systems, set up to work together.

Every camera went up on permanent hardware built to last in the Arizona heat. The solar cameras needed no wiring runs, so there are no exposed cables or temporary mounts on the outside of the house.

  • Solar-powered outdoor security cameras
  • Video doorbell
  • Smart door lock with keypad
  • Smart thermostat
  • Whole-home mesh Wi-Fi
  • Smart garage door control
  • Smart water monitor with leak alerts

Beyond the install

Set up for hands-off hosting.

The hardware was half the job. The rest was configuring each system around how the owner runs the rental.

Guest access without keys

Every booking gets its own door code, and it expires automatically at checkout. No lockbox, no key handoff, no leftover codes between guests.

Streaming that protects the owner

Guests sign in to their own Netflix, Hulu, or other accounts on the TVs. They’re signed out automatically between stays, so the owner’s subscriptions stay private.

One phone for the whole property

Cameras, climate, water, door access, and the garage are all managed from one phone. The owner doesn’t need to be on site for a turnover.

Leaks caught early

The water monitor watches for leaks and unusual use, and sends an alert right away. That matters most when the house sits empty between bookings.

The result

A property that’s protected, easy for guests, and run from one phone.

One visit covered security, entry, climate, Wi-Fi, and water protection, and it was all handed over working, with the apps set up on the owner’s phone.
